General lqbal Karim Bhuiyan, psc, President of Bangladesh Olympic Association, and Chief of Army Staff, His Excellency Raja Randhir Singh, Secretary General of Olympic Council of Asia and Member of International Olympic Committee, His Excellency Syed Shahed Reza, Secretary General of Bangladesh Olympic Association and Ambassador of Bangladesh to Kuwait have made a courtesy call on with Her Excellency Sheikh Hasina, Hon‘ble Prime Minister of Bangladesh on 23 January, 2013 at Prime Minister’s Office in Dhaka.

Handing Over Ceremony of the IOC Donated Minivan was held at the Olympic Bhaban, Dhaka on 23 January 2013 at 1630 hrs. H. E. Raja Rajdhir Singh, IOC Member and Secretary General, OCA graced the occasion as Chief Guest and Handed Over the Minivan to General Iqbal Karim Bhuiyan,psc, President of Bangladesh Olympic Association. Secretary General of BOA Mr. Syed Shahed Reza, Former President of BOA General (Retd.) Md Abdul Mubeen, Executive Committee members of BOA, President and General Secretary of different National Federations were present in the occasion.

Sports for All

The Pilot Project got underway from 08 March 2011 by organizing a Seminar on “Sports for All” in Noakhali District. The Seminar was held in the District Commissioner’s Office in Noakhali. District Commissioner of Noakhali, District Sports Officer, Upazilla Nirbahi Officers (Head of Local Government), Head of Different Educational Institutions, representatives from different sports clubs, social organizations, representatives from local Press Club and other stakeholders were present
