Bangladesh Brail Chess Society arranged a 2 day long, Dhaka Divisional Chess Competition from 9-10 April 2012 at the Media Centre of Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA). For the first time BOA stepped forward to organize such event. A prize giving ceremony was arranged on 10th April. Hon'ble Secretary of Ministry of Social Welfare Mr. Ranjit Kumar Biswas was present as Chief Guest. Col (Retd) M. Wali Ullah, DG, BOA was also present as special Guest on that occasion. President of Bangladesh Brail Chess Society Mr. Jahangir Hossain presided over the prize giving ceremony. Secretary General of Bangladesh Brail Chess Society , Mr Zakir Hossain and Sr. Vice President Mr. Nazmul Hossain were present on that occasion.
